Indeed, the intention is very good but the design principles I see a discrepancy between the Design Principles I read here and those I am using since a quarter of a century. And that doesn’t mean any one is wrong or write but simply, as usual, that sharing
ideas could enrich everyone
BTW this is probably my first email to this mailing list and as a ‘fyi’, fact is that I am a direct colleague of Bret now since a few months but I happened too to be the chairman of Working Party 3 at ITU SG17 where I coincidentally see Liaison Statements
with OASIS.
Fact is that I observe too here at ITU (we are in SG17 2 weeks meeting now in Geneva) the same issue of Design Principles definitions gap. Interesting timing.
