Last evening, the CTI TC passed a ballot approving the guidance proffered to OASIS on a path forward to resolving the IPR concerns around the STIX/TAXII trademarks.  The ballot was provided to all members of the TC in order to cast the widest net possible.  The ballot received 34 unanimous yes vote in favor of the proposed guidance (attached as a PDF to this email).  Of note this represents ~25 percent of overall membership and 21/30 current voting members (as of 4 October 22).

 

We look forward to working with you and OASIS staff to come to a swift resolution of this issue so we can communicate with ITU-T SG17 later this year in preparation for their work sessions commencing in early 2023.

 

Please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or Trey with any questions and/or concerns.  We, and the collective TC, stand ready to support you as necessary.
