Subject: Groups - DCML TC Teleconference modified

DCML TC Teleconference has been modified by Mrs Sarah Barbuscia

Date: Tuesday, 07 February 2006
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am PT

Event Description:
Event Description:
Dial-in: (888) 772-1825
Passcode: 4087447509

Agenda:

Minutes:
Use Case Scenarios
J. Darrel led a discussion on the Use case scenarios that are currently being worked on. The first use case discussed was compliance. This has many practical applications however it is important to make sure within the broad spectrum of compliance where exactly DCML comes in. Also it will be important for us to scope out at what level do we allow department leaders and tech leaders to drop into their framework whatever policy and procedures are needed for their system compliance.

ACTION: J. Darrel to provide the 3 use case currently available for the TC to review. Get feedback on how we see those processes and the process flows and how would DCML basically contribute to the Meta model, password reset and audit ability

Robin has requested space on the next TC teleconference for a Visio request diagram presentation. She has advised that she has a current trademarked and copyrighted application to display the functional usage and would be willing to walk people through the practical use no a one-on-one basis.

ACTION: Add Vision Request Diagram presentation to the next TC agenda.

Information Open on OASIS site
Robin raised a concern that currently there seems to be a lack of filter for information shared in the OASIS portal. This is a concern as she feels limited on what information she can share/disclose for fear that it will be mined from any search engine and not kept confidential.

ACTION: Agenda addition Steering committee meeting: There is need to confirm with Oasis, why documents/email threads from the members only area are showing up in Google and what fixes are available.

Charter Discussion

The recently submitted charter document from James Clark was discussed. There was comments that the changes were necessary however there were many on the committee who had not had a chance to review the changes in completion. In order to give the TC a bit more time to review these changes Tim has asked any comments/feedback form the group to be received no later than COB on Friday so the proposed change can be sent to vote next week.

ACTION: COB Friday to receive comments/feedback from the group.

Sponsorship: Robin wasnt sure if we were seeking sponsorship from Osaki. This is a question to be raised at the next SC meeting. Robin has input on the relationship with Osaki and would like to attend the meeting for the purpose of this discussion. Tim and J. Darrel will review the agenda and advise if this will be ok.
