Redirection of OASIS DCML Framework Technical Committee/Closure of Member Section

Greetings,

As a result of the unsuccessful call for new OASIS DCML Member Section (MS)
Steering Committee (SC) nominees to reseat the MS SC
<http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dcml-ms/email/archives/200611/
msg00000.html>, held on 22 November, the existing OASIS DCML Steering
Committee has voted to close the Member Section to refocus the energies of
the group on the DCML Framework TC.
The current Framework TC members will focus on clarifying and submitting the
current specification for ratification using the standard OASIS TC process,
to include defining use cases.
J. Darrel Thomas has agreed to identify resource requirements and publish to
TC list by taking original framework with some modifications and additions,
then identifying 'real-world' orchestration and process needs. This
evaluation will be complete within the mid to late January time frame.
