Subject: Re: [dita-adoption] FW: DITA Adoption SWOT Analysis
Hi, Claude Yes, I think that's an important aspect. Not just for specialisations, but transforms as well. I've added it to the Opportunities area. I've just read a posting by Troy to the STC Single Sourcing list in which he mentions 'documentation by the pound'. In other words, if you're being paid by visible or total results, this is a driver to duplicate and not use single sourcing techniques. Is it worth including something like this in Threats? Or is it too non-specific to DITA Adoption? A similar factor can sometimes exist with marketing material. http://wiki.oasis-open.org/dita-adoption/DITA_Adoption_SWOT_Analysis BTW, I noticed that any words in 'camel caps' end up as links. This is a Wiki 'feature'. So, FrameMaker and DocBook would be interpreted as being links to a local Wiki page with those names. I decided that incorrect capitalisation was the lesser evil compared with a false link. If anyone has any strong feelings about this, please speak up!
