Gershon moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, Kristen seconded and none opposed.

Action Items: Close item #2.

Sowmya will change the format attribute value in the Keyref feature article and update to Kavi. Kris will find an appropriate location on dita.xml.org and announce it to the TC and various user groups. In addition, Kris will notify Robin Cover, the Yahoo user group, and DITA in LinkedIn. We hope that Robin will publish it in the regular OASIS announcements.

Marc reported that he has contacted the International Atomic Energy Agency (http://www.iaea.org/) about the potential for using the DITA standard in its publications. He is awaiting a response.

All discussed the DITA compliance requirements and will participate in developing a test suite.

JoAnn reported adding a list of basic DITA concepts to the DITA TC wiki. We now need to assign people to write the basic concepts. Asked that Adoption TC members review the list and suggest additions.  Kris will send the appropriate URL to the committee members.  

Discussed the issue of referencing the OT in publications of the Adoption TC. Must use the OT to create examples of 1.2 features. No particular reference given or required.

Action: Kris will initiate an offline discussion of references to the OT and how to handle. Discussion of the need for a reference implementation of the DITA standard.

Focus Area report: Kris plans to schedule future subcommittee meetings. Asked for members to volunteer to take part in the editorial board for dita.xml.org. More help is needed.

Members are asked to continue work on the feature articles and the SWAT analysis. At present, efforts are concentrated on getting the 1.2 Architectural Specification written. Draft is due June 15, 2009.

Anyone who is committed to implementing DITA 1.2 is asked to indicate that commitment on the wiki page of the DITA TC.
