Subject: RE: [chairs] Process Committee Meetings Invite
Hi, Jeff. Was there information provided about calling into the January 11th Process Committee? If so, I missed it. Can you provide an update about how chairs and TC members can participate in these meetings with the Process Committee? We appreciate your concerns and we after some review have divided them into the following categories: 1. Public Review Requirement for Committee Note Drafts 2. Templates 3. Approved Errata We would like to have the opportunity to hear from you directly, consequently, we have dedicated several Process Committee calls to the first two topics. Process Committee meetings are Tuesdays at 11:00AM - noon Pacific Time. Jan 11, 2011 - Public Review Requirement for CNDs Jan 25, 2011 - Templates Feb 8, 2011 (tentative) - Approved Errata There actually has been no change to this part of the TC Process in several years. The Process Committee is currently considering how to address "maintenance" (to make use of the recent change to the IPR Policy regarding maintenance) and also how to handle PAS submissions and changes that may result from working with JTC 1. This may entail some changes to Approved Errata so we're interested in hearing concerns about it so that we can consider them in the larger context. You are cordially invited to participate in these meetings so that we are sure that your concerns are heard. Please attend if you wish and forward this email/invite those who you feel might contribute to a constructive dialog. We look forward to your contributions. thank you, jeff mischkinsky, Chair Process Committee -- Jeff Mischkinsky jeff.mischkinsky@oracle.com Sr. Director, Oracle Fusion Middleware +1(650)506-1975 and Web Services Standards 500 Oracle Parkway, M/S 2OP9 Oracle Redwood Shores, CA 94065
