Subject: Suggested Changes to Two Polling Questions
At the end of the DITA TC meeting I asked the members there to review our polling questions to see if they had any thoughts on what we intended to ask.
We got suggested changes for two questions, which I think would be worthwhile:
For #7 ("*Are you using a cCMS?"), turn it into a multiple-choice question which instead asks:
7. Are you using some form of version control?
a. File system only b. SVN or GitHub c. cCMS (on premises) d. cCMS (hosted) e. No
And for #8 ("*Are you using Dynamic Publishing?"), turn this into a multiple-choice question which asks:
8. What are the output types you support?
a. PDF b. Web c. Dynamic d. ePub e. Personalized/User-specific I think these are good suggestions, as they drill down further into the sort of data that would be useful for us, so I recommend that these substitutions be made (so long as Kathy can do so)!
Cheers! -
