A. 2018 Whitepaper Plans
   1. AI/Stan: Move items in the Confluence planning page
      to ATC JIRA tracker. 
   2. AI/Scott: Bail Stan out if he messes up. 
   3. AI/Stan: Update Keith's whitepaper records on 
      keymap management and metadata management. Tag
      with Q2/2018 targets.

B. 2018 Listening Sessions
   1. Consider organizing listening sessions along the
      following lines:
      a. In-person listening sessions in stragetic locations
         such as Autin, Toronto, and the Bay Area. 
      b. Online listening sessions focused on specific 
         questions.
      c. Online listening sessions focused on specific 
         roles:
         > Managers
         > Toolsmiths
         > Information Architects
         > Writers
         > Editors
      d. Conference venues:
         > CIDM NA
           AI/Kathy: Touch base with Dawn about options for 
           a listening session at the conference. 
   2. Austin
      AI/Joe: Touch base with Central Texas DITA User 
      Group
   3. Toronto
      AI/Keith: Touch base with Toronto-area MeetUp
      and user groups.
   4. Bay Area
      AI/Stan: Reach out to Bay Area User Groups. Explore
      setting up three on-site meetings in multiple 
      locations. 
   5. Broomfield
      AI/Scott: Reach out to the local groups.
      If Ft. Collins/Boulder/Denver/Broomfield folks can meet,
      consider maybe an Oracle site (Stan).

Updated from Keith: 

I can report on some progress: 

- met with the Congility developers at LavaCon and talked briefly 
  about future developments for the DXO website. Consensus is that I will 
  continue to add new content between now and Xmas, and then consider when to 
  launch in 2018 (perhaps in time with DITA North America?)

- information from the virtual DITA Listening Sessions--primarily the poll 
  results--has been mentioned both at the LwDITA and DITA TC meetings. I know 
  that the info on the polls has been posted to OASIS, but is it available to 
  non-members? Also, comments relating to metadata usage and issues relating
  to it may be worthy of follow-up, as this is an idea gaining some circulation 
  within the DITA TC between now and Xmas I am planning to ask people who 
  presented at DITA NA earlier this year if we can post their presentations 
  to our SlideShare space.
