Subject: Key information about the OASIS PDF styles

Hi, Stan.

Please note that the org.oasis-open.pdf plug-in contains a readme.txt file that contains important information; it also contains a template directory that contains starter files for new specs and committee notes.

I'll copy the contents of the readme file here:

Readme for the OASIS PDF plug-in
Original creation: KJE 30 Jan 2019
--------------------------------------------------------------------

This plug-in runs on DITA-0T 3.3.4 and uses Antenna House Formatter
for official TC PDFs. (You can use FOP for generic PDFs.)
It requires a system with the Liberation Sans font installed.

It defines three transformations:

Â* oasis-pdf-committeeNoteÂÂÂ (OASIS committee note)
Â* oasis-pdf-specificationÂÂÂ (OASIS specification)
Â* oasis-pdf-genericÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ (Generic PDF, body uses spec styles)
Â
ÂThe template directory contains starter files for new
Âspecifications and committee notes.
Â
ÂThe spec and committee note transformations rely on certain keys
Âand outputclass values.
Â
ÂOutputclass values:
Â
Â* outputclass="notices" must be set on the root of the notices topic.
ÂÂ If this is not present, the topic will not be rendered.
Â* outputclass="RFC-2119" must be set on <term> elements that contain
ÂÂ RFC-2119 terms. (Spec only)
Â* outputclass="documentStage" must be set on the <booktitlealt> element
ÂÂ that contains the document stage.
Â* outputclass="stageDate" must be set on the <booktitlealt> element
ÂÂ that contains the publication date.
ÂÂ
ÂKey values:
Â
Â* The "stage-date" key is used by the footers in the spec and committee note
ÂÂ styles.
ÂÂ
ÂI *strongly* suggest that DITA TC specs and committee notes use the same key
Ânames for cover page information. Here is an example:
Â
 <booktitle>
ÂÂÂ <mainbooktitle>Lightweight DITA Version 1.0</mainbooktitle>
ÂÂÂ <booktitlealt outputclass="documentStage">
ÂÂÂÂÂ <keyword keyref="stage"/>
ÂÂÂ </booktitlealt>
ÂÂÂ <booktitlealt outputclass="stageDate">
ÂÂÂÂÂ <keyword keyref="stage-date"/>
ÂÂÂ </booktitlealt>
Â</booktitle>

Best,
Kris
