Subject: Comment equation numbering in DITA 1.3 spec
Is there an expected behavior for the stylesheet in documents where some equation numbers are set manually, while others are left to automatic numbering by the stylesheet? E.g. should those with manual numbers be counted or ignored for
auto-numbering? Also, might it be useful to have a counter that can be referenced? For example: the first equation has an automatically generated number, and in the second equation number I want to create a manual number that is the combination of the
first automatic number and an suffix to create something like “Eq. 3” and “Eq. 3a”. Or is this already possible by doing an xref to the first <equation-number/>?
