Hi all -
I hope you've had a chance to look at
working learning topic designs in the learningsc plugin -
http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dita-learningspec/download.php/23855/learningsc_plugin.zip
At last Thursday's meeting, we got everyone
in attendance set up and running in about 15 minutes, including downloading
and installing the DITA OT 1.3.1 from scratch.
If you have trouble getting things set
up, don't hesitate to let me know, or better yet, send an email to this
learning SC list and ask for help - dita-learningspec@lists.oasis-open.org.
On that note, Reuben Tozman just mentioned
that he had problems getting good results with the OT PDF build.
I just checked, and it turns out the
default PDF processing has a problem with the external link in the README.dita
topic.
If you want to get a PDF, edit the learning_test.ditamap
to remove the topicref to README.dita, and you should get a nice little
basic PDF from the test learning topics in the map.
For better PDF support, you might want
to check out the FO 1.2.1 toolkit plugin - http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=132728.
