How many doc type shells for DITA 1.2 for learning and training?

Dear DITA learning and training sub-committee,

How many variations of the learning types to include
in the DITA 1.2 distribution?

• When you consider the various combinations of topic types, map types, and domains, there ends up quite a set of possible configurations for learning. See Michael Priestley's summary - http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/dita/200807/msg00004.html.
• Question for us to decide: Do we want to provide pre-set configurations for generic learning and training, SW learning and training, and MI learning and training? Or do we want to provide just the generic configuration?

We need to provide input to the TC on the issue below.
We'll discuss at the July 17 meeting, but if you can't make the meeting
and have thoughts, please review respond back to the list.
