Subject: Feedback on lcCorrectResponse2
For consideration: Add an optional attribute indicating correct/incorrect for question responses. Hi Scott, Yes, we had to use XSL to process the interactions into syntax that was specific to the LMS. However, the LMS handles randomization of the individual interactions, as well as randomization of the answer options, when presented to the user. I've got one piece of immediate feedback for the SC, which I can formalize, if you need. Because <lcCorrectResponse2> (and <lcCorrectResponse>) is only indicated by its presence or absence,
it doesn't play well with CSS. CSS will only display something that exists. I was trying to create an Author-mode CSS in Oxygen to make it easier for authors to create learning content. I wanted to present a checkbox for <lcCorrectResponse2> to turn it on or off.
However, if an option is not the correct response, there is no <lcCorrectResponse2> to drive the CSS. I went through all kinds of gyrations to make it work, but eventually gave up. It would be very useful if <lcCorrectResponse2> contained an optional attribute indicating correct/incorrect. That way, the element could be present in all options.
However, I do understand the complexities this might introduce for backward compatibility. Simon On 2/28/18 3:21 PM, Scott Hudson wrote:
