Subject: Re: [dita-lightweight-dita] Survey results

Dear Jan,

Short answer: Yes, we have survey results, but the analysis is not complete.
Longer answer: I've just proposed a talk for the DITA/CMS NA conference titled "What DITA Users Expect from Lightweight DITA (And How We Are Planning To Deliver)." I hope they accept it for the April conference. I plan to use the survey results for that talk, so I am not sure how much of the results we want to "spoil" or reveal to the general public before that talk.
Definitely something to discuss during our next subcommittee call.

Best,

Carlos

HI all,

I was wondering if there are already any results of the "Why LW Dita" survey, that are sharable? Reason for asking is that I had quite some talks at DITA Europe with people who argued that 'simplifying DITA authoring'  is not so much something to be achieved by a simple schema, but by 'better tools'.

I would like to write a blog on that subject using the results from the survey, but am unsure if I can refer to it yet?

Thnks!

Jan
