Subject: RE: [dita-sidsc] 2009-04-29 teleconference recording
- From: "Park Seth-R01164" <seth.park@freescale.com>

Hi Folks,
I listened to the call from this week and wanted to
clarify a few things.
First, the sidsc specialization is delivered as a
plugin. Please see the readme file for full instructions, but here's the
gist:
-
download the latest zip file
-
extract the zip file, place the "sidsc" directory in
the plugins directory
-
run the "integrator.xml"
build
After that, your DITA-OT catalog is automatically
updated, and the baseline stylesheets are automatically integrated. You should
already have your editor using the DITA-OT catalog, so integrating the sidsc
specialization will require no additional work in that
regard.
There are sample files you can run and see output
immediately.

For
those who couldn’t make today’s call but would like to hear the discussion, the
recording is available for playback:
https://www115.livemeeting.com/cc/freescale/view?id=sidsc-090429
The
entire call was only 45 minutes long, so I'd encourage you to listen in. We
discussed a strategy for moving forward on getting the SIDSC register
specialization language specification completed so that we can get it into the
hands of interested parties.
Respectfully,
Bob
