DITA Translation Subcommittee Meeting Minutes: 16 July 2007

The DITA Translation Subcommittee met on Monday 16 July  2007
at 8:00 PT for 30 minutes.

1)  Roll Call

    Present: 
        JoAnn Hackos (chair)
        Robert Anderson
        Nick Rosenthal
        Don Day  
	Gershon Joseph  
	Kara Warburton

    Regrets:
        Rodolfo Raya
 
2) This was an extra meeting with very low attendance. No business conducted.
 
3) Ask Peter Roden if there is an OASIS call-in number that we could use so that Rodolfo Raya could 
   call in from China.

   Don Day believes there is not an IBM China dial-in number.

4) Add comments to the acronym proposal (done)

5) Brief discussion of ruby attribute (Deborah Pickett and Felix Sasaki)

   localization note (loc.note) discussion of the W3c committee best practices document.

6) Brief discussion of the abbreviation element. Kara will write a note.
