Dear
Friends,
I feel compelled to
scheule another meeting so that we can get a final vote of the subcommittee on
the Conref Best Practice and the Acronym Proposal. We want to present the
Acronym Proposal to the Technical Committee as soon as possible. Please try to
attend the meeting tomorrow.
Now for the
confusing part. The US has not changed clocks back to standard time yet. Europe
changed today, Sunday. We are now 6 and 7 hours behind the UK and Central Europe
(providing you have all changed as well). Please check one of the time zone
programs on the web to be certain. Rodolfo, I have no idea what time it will be
in China.
11 am Eastern/10 am
Central/9 am Mountain/ 4 pm UK/ 5 pm Central Europe (I think this is
correct).
Synchronize your
clocks please!
Please find the
agenda on the Subcommittee wiki
Minutes from 22
October
I have updated the
Conref with Robert's corrections to the syntax in the examples. I have also
rerun the TOC so that it matches the document. I was using the one from the
earlier Best Practice inadvertently.
Gershon has the
Multilanguage BP to fix the examples and put them in context. I hope he can get
to that as soon as possible.
Andrzej is updating
the wiki and, I hope, using the template. If not, I'll put the new version of
the acronym proposal into the official template.
Please let me know
when the changes have been incorporated.
