The process would be like this: * The translation tool detects that the segment being translated comes from a DITA file. * The tool identifies inline markup as originated in a conref * The tool resolves the conref and generates a full sentence * A grammar parser is used to analyse the entence and correct gender/concordance and all possible errors cause by the conref. * Optionally, the tool would show the full sentence to the translator for confirming the automatic fixes * The tool restores the inline markup originated in the conref I don't know any software that behaves as described above.
