Hi JoAnn,
Thanks. I will take a look at the approved documents. I'd also
provide feedback on the examples you added to the MultiLanguage Best Practice
document, if you're interested. I assume it is not posted on dita.xml.org.

Subject: Re: [dita-translation] "Best Practice for Translating
DITA" document?
Hi
Bryan,
The MultiLanguage Best Practice was not officially completed because we were
missing examples. I have since added examples and have asked people to review,
but have not received any comments.
The Best Practice for Leveraging Translation Memory is the final document under
the Working paper heading in the Documents Folder from the Committee home page.
It’s listed as an Approved Document.
All of the approved documents are also in dita.xml.org

Hello,
I'm here to tax your memory (but hopefully not your patience). I might need to
ask this of the DITA Adoption TC, but I thought I'd start here. Was there ever
a "Best Practice for Translating DITA" document produced by this SC?
I found "MultiLanguage Best Practice," dated 10 June 2008 (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dita-translation/download.php/28527/MultilingualBestPracticesWhitePaper_glj01.doc).
Is there a newer version of this document? I also see reference to a
"Translation Memory Best Practice" document (http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/dita-translation/email/archives/200708/msg00022.html).
But the document is no longer there.
Thanks,
Bryan
