Hi France, DTDVersion is a fixed attribute that was used to help identify which the version of the DTDs/XML Schema pre-OASIS. It is meant as hint to easily identify them (human or application). For instance, if they were stored in a directory the that does provide any hint on the version. For the OASIS DTDs, the attribute DTDVersion was replaced with the namespace attribute ditaarch:DITAArchVersion Kind regards, Eric Eric A.
