Subject: OASIS Press Release to Announce DITA XML.org Focus Area

**Sponsor quote deadline: 5:00 pm US EST, Friday, 17 March.**

The Consortium is preparing a press release to announce the upcoming launch of the DITA XML.org Focus Area (http://dita.xml.org). We
have targeted Wednesday, 22 March 2006, for distribution. DITA will be the first in what we hope will be a series of XML.org Focus
Areas promoting the adoption of specific OASIS Standards.

XML.org is sponsored by OASIS members who are committed to advancing the use of open standards worldwide. Any OASIS Sponsor-level
member may sponsor the DITA XML.org Focus Area for 5,000 USD annually or the entire XML.org site for 30,000 USD annually. OASIS
gratefully acknowledges the financial support of these organizations by featuring their linked logos on the site and by naming and
quoting them in press releases on XML.org.

The upcoming OASIS press release will include the following statement:

"Funding for the DITA XML.org Focus Area is provided by Adobe, Blast Radius, Comtech, Innodata Isogen, PTC, and SAP."

If your organization's name is listed above, and you would prefer *not* to be mentioned in the press release, please let me know.

If your organization is not listed above, and you are interested in sponsoring the DITA XML.org Focus Area, please contact Peter
Roden (peter.roden@oasis-open.org) for more information.

DITA XML.org Focus Area sponsors who would like to send a quote for the press release may email that to me. Please include a name
and title at your company to whom the quote can be attributed.

**Our deadline for accepting Sponsor quotes for the press release is 5:00 pm US EST, Friday, 17 March.**
