Dynamically selected values, yes.

 

CDATA, no. I don't think that the current proposal is explicit on the syntactic restrictions (may have missed it) but for sure they cannot use parentheses because that would interfere with the proposed generalization mechanism. Most likely they will be restricted to NMTOKENs or NAMEs.

Am I correct in assuming that new attributes added using the base attribute collector can have arbitrary CDATA values unspecified in advance?
