Hi Jeff,
How are you going to fix the
misspelling of outputclass? If you just correct the spelling, it
is possible that existing documents will become invalid.
In most cases I would say that we should
keep the misspellings, but in this case the same misspelling occur on <foreign>
and <unknown>. Both of these should be specialized in almost
cases. The only rare time you would have these directly in the document
is after generalization. The likelihood that someone is using these
directly on the XML Schema side of things is fairly remote. Maybe
Eliot can comment on whether or not they use these elements directly in
some of his implementation.
I wonder if you shouldn’t
wait on this for a week or two to see if we uncover anything else.
