Another aspect of Trello, which I had completely forgotten about because I've never used it, is the ability to vote on specific cards. So if, for example, somebody thought 13035 "XML Mention" domain was a critical DITA 1.3 feature (to pick an example at random), you could click its card in Trello and then click the 'Vote' button. This might be an elegant solution to the 'identify critical features' problem.
