Subject: RE: [dita] Educational background of voting members of the TC
As a matter of fact, all three of my university degrees are in Computer Science (2) and Mathematics (1). But I read non-technical books and do art a lot. :-) mag -----Original Message----- From: dita@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:dita@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Kristen James Eberlein Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2014 4:22 AM To: DITA TC Subject: [dita] Educational background of voting members of the TC Folks, recently someone commented that DITA (and XML in general) is not useful for technical authors because it is developed by mathematicians and computer scientists. That made me wonder about the education background of voting members of the TC. As far as I know, quite a few of us have background in the humanities: Anderson Bissantz Day: English and Journalism Doherty: English Eberlein: History Hackos: English Hamilton Harrison Helfinstine Hudson Kimber Magliery Myers Nitchie Priestley: Drama If you are comfortable sharing this info, please send it to me either on or off list. -- Best, Kris Kristen James Eberlein Chair, OASIS DITA Technical Committee Principal consultant, Eberlein Consulting www.eberleinconsulting.com +1 919 682-2290; kriseberlein (skype) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mail list, you must leave the OASIS TC that generates this mail.
