I'm always happy to see nested acronyms.

FWIW, I don't really have any objections to the new syntax either. I mostly mentioned George's input in case the possibility of keeping "xml" resonated with anybody. But I think the risk is clear and present enough.

I also became comfortable with the aesthetics of the "xm-" prefix, once
