Subject: Re: [dita] Purpose of files in the scott-example-sandbox directory

The test documents that I've created are in the doctypes/test directory in
SVN (and now in the dita-rng-converter project on GitHub).

I haven't removed them from SVN yet because they may still have value as
test cases independent of how the grammars come to be produced
(automatically or manually).

The positive (valid) tests provide at least minimal smoke testing of all
the shells and new 1.3 vocabulary. The negative (invalid) tests are much
less complete and I still don't have a good way to run those tests in a
way that works with normal success/failure checking in Ant, although I
haven't had any time to work on it either.

I think the TC should maintain test documents: that seems like a minimal
bit of diligence for any vocabulary one develops.

Cheers,

E.
