Draft text for "first contact" note

Here's some text you can use for the "first contact" note you send to your assigned OASIS voters. Please add personal language to it and otherwise edit however you feel comfortable. The important thing is that they read it and "get it"!

For example, if you know that the person voted for DITA 1.2, you may wish to refer to that vote (from 5 years ago). Here (Thanks Dick) is a link where you can find out who did:

Dear ...,

Very soon (about December 1st) OASIS will issue a Call for Vote for Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) 1.3. On behalf of the OASIS DITA TC, I'm asking you to consider voting for this new standard (and to consider voting "Yes").

DITA has proven itself as the leading XML standard for scalable, modular, structured information development, working across geographies, industries, and organizational boundaries. Version 1.3 adds features that greatly enhance DITA's power to serve the publication and communication industries.
