Dear Sanjay Patil.

I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that DITA 1.3 will be up 
for an OASIS ballot this December.

We very much appreciate that SAP voted to approve DITA 1.2 five years 
ago, and most sincerely hope that SAP will vote to approve DITA 1.3 next 
month.

We know that DITA is used extensively within SAP, and in fact, some of 
the DITA 1.3 enhancements come from SAP employee Mark Myers!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about 
DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture), or perhaps you might 
communicate with Sven Leukert from SAP.
