Subject: FYI -- Agile/Scrum Adoption Within Standards Development Organizations

Hi --

I conducted some additional research on Agile/Scrum adoption within the most popular standards development organizations. Mixed bag for sure.

1. IEEE Computer Society - no obvious committee activities using Scrum
   > Offers several Agile/Scrum certification courses through its IEEE

2. ACM - no obvious references to using Agile/Scrum.

3. ISO - no obvious references to using Agile/Scrum.

4. W3C

   a. Internal debate - current W3C processes inhibiting agile pace of development

5. OASIS - Three TCs seem to be using Agile/Kanban/Scrum to one degree or another:

    a. XDI Editors group

    b. Topology and Orchestration Spec for Cloud Apps (TOSCA)

6. Scrum Alliance - Not much information about their work with standards organizations
