Subject: Error reported fixed in Errata02 but not actually fixed in Spec
There's an error in these documents that has slipped through. I don't think we can just ignore it, because we SAID in Errata 02 that we fixed it, but in actuality we did not. I flagged this in the DITAweb review, but I think Kris misinterpreted my comment and rejected it. The topic is "2.2.3.4 Processing controlled attribute values" [source file is \specification\archSpec\base\processing-controlled-attribute-values.dita] Output text as it appeared in Spec+Errata01 (also seen in the "Original text" column of the big change-table of Errata02): If "therapist" is flagged and "novice-therapist" is not explicitly flagged, processors automatically should flag "novice" since it is a type of therapist. Output text as it is supposed to be corrected in Spec+Errata02 (also seen in the "Revised text" column of the big change-table): If "therapist" is flagged and "novice-therapist" is not explicitly flagged, processors automatically should flag "novice-therapist" since it is a type of therapist. Markup currently in Errata02 branch of source in github (this is consistent with the output as rendered in the XHTML and PDF output produced by Bob today): <li>If "therapist" is flagged and "novice<ph rev="errata-02">-therapist</ph>" is not explicitly flagged, processors automatically should flag "novice" since it is a type of therapist.</li> The correct markup should be: <li>If "therapist" is flagged and "novice-therapist" is not explicitly flagged, processors automatically should flag "novice<ph rev="errata-02">-therapist</ph>" since it is a type of therapist.</li> mag From: dita@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:dita@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Robert Thomas Submitter's message
