Hi Don,
I have spoken with Keith and Stan and they are both quite happy if I would take up the role of moderator of the FB page. So if you can give me the access rights to the page I can start doing that.
Kind regards from Keflavik - on my way back home.

Good questions, Jang. I am not in Denver this week, but carry on
the discussion with TC members there.
As far as the continued role for the Facebook page, we may as
well accept that anything with a popular acronym will always have
a de facto presence just because people will search for it and
Facebook analytics can't leave a juicy heading alone. As you may
have noticed, Ixiasoft and Adobe have been making steady and good
use of the page for announcements. Saibal Bhattacharjee has been a
significant contributor and could be approached for sharing some
moderation responsibilities (especially for vetting the many
requests that seem to have no DITA connection). After everyone
gets back from DITA NA, let's continue the discussion at the next
regularly scheduled meeting. --

Hi Don,
I had a quick look and it seems doable for me to take on a
moderation role. It would still be good to discuss the strategy
for this group at the conference next week. What will happen with
the status of the group when the new DXO site goes live? How
involved should the DITA Adoption TC be with this group? What are
the views on cross-posting stuff from DXO or dita-users groups to
here?
Are you going to be in Denver next week?
Kind regards

I
am approving TC members who have been requesting to
join. There are 13 pending member requests from all
over Europe and India, so the outreach opportunity of
this list is huge for promoting DITA beyond the US.
