Conformance statement for LwDITA

Question for DITA TC, cc'ing Chet Ensign also.

What sort of conformance statement can or should we make in the LwDITA spec?

• Should the LwDITA conformance statement be based on the conformance statement that we have for DITA 1.3?
• Should the LwDITA conformance statement be based on the conformance statement that we have for DITA 1.3 plus any additional LwDITA-specific additions?
• Should the LwDITA conformance statement be based on the conformance statement that we will develop for DITA 2.0?
• Should the LwDITA conformance statement be based on the conformance statement that we will develop for DITA 2.0 plus any additional LwDITA-specific additions?

I know that Carlos is out for the next two TC meeting, but I want to get discussion started around this. (I also remember that I asked Robert to be able to lead a discussion about OASIS requirements and our (to-be-written) DITA 2.0 conformation statement for 10 July ...)

I suspect that a deciding factor will be interoperability and whether LwDITA releases before DITA 2.0.
