Missed discussing this at the meeting yesterday. We likely need to discuss it at next weeks meeting to see if everyone/majority agree it should go into the bookmap update. Then I can go from there
as far as the proposal goes. Maybe it was discussed, I had to step out for a bit during the call.

One of the assumed features of DITA 1.3 was to auto-generate a revision history, based on the change-historylist element.
Iâd like to propose that another element be added to <booklists> to enable a processor to auto-generate such a revision history (<revhistorylist> or <historylist>, perhaps?). Can something like this be added to Ericâs
bookmap proposal, or would it require a separate proposal?

The booklist element is used in both frontmatter and backmatter. So adding it booklist automatically adds it to the frontmatter section as well. The concern I have is that <amendments> is
not really meant to be part of frontmatter. This is more of a plumbing issue, but just one I want to highlight. To keep things separate, the proposal would make sure that <amendments> is part of <booklists> but does not appear in the frontmatter.
