     Keith Schengili-Roberts has left IXIASOFT; he hopes to rejoin OASIS through his new company or as an individual member.

5. Report back from Lavacon
- Deb; Very busy. Largest - 500 attendees. Lots of vendors, including a bunch of new ones. Well received. Unfortunately, was mostly at her booth, didn't attend a lot of sessions.
- Kris; Dawn Stevens will be on call next week, may have more insight.
Keith was there, presented his 'DITA Worst Practices'

- Scott; was reviewed by Carsten and Stan; added more detail, listed out all elements where example would be allowed, but it's not allowed to nest, and not allowed in stepxmp or step (since stepxmp is in step).  Provided add'l context where examples are allowed, and add'l examples. I don't expect any change to documentation.  Appendix includes the RNG, etc.  New models will be in commonElements.mod; no backwards compatibility issues.  Rendering expectations are that it's a block, and all the contexts are block contexts.

- Kris: Since we don't know when Keith will be back, is there anyone willing to take over this and champion it?
- Scott; After I get the example one done, should be able to pick it up.

- Zoe; What happens during the holidays?
- Kris; Usually cancel week of Christmas and week after. But generally try each week. Will anyone be out week of Thanksgiving?
