I present a high-level comparison between markup and markdown approaches and how markdown-type languages fit into a DITA landscape like we have at Software AG. I'm kind of glad that I didn't delve into details, because there already is a nice presentation held by Alex Jitianu (SyncroSoft) about more technical aspects when looking at DITA and Markdown.

ZoÃ, your announcement is promising, I'll have a look at that!
