Subject: Re: [doc-mgmt] Assuming role of doc-mgmt editor

Jeff,

In this document, somehow the requirement that a user be able to interact with
the system using a WebDAV enabled client appplication, which I posted to the
list as:

"Client applications which support WebDAV (eg XML Spy, OpenOffice, Microsoft
Office 2000/XP, Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Acrobat, Eclipse etc) must be able to
get documents from the DMS using WebDAV, edit them, and put them back. ie
WebDAV can be used as an interface for submission/modification."

has been mangled into:

"CVS/WiKi/WebDav/RealtimeP2P/Groove or other such collaborative development
environment".

I think that restatement is inadequate, since it mixes some very different
concepts together, and doesn't state a requirement as such.

thanks

Jason
