O'Reilly books are not free either, by the >way. We have downloaded a demo version of Framemaker to try as an alternative to docbook->rtf->ms-word->postscript. Clearly life would be a lot easier if we could convert docbook to a Framemaker format. Does anyone have experience in this area? How about a converter from docbook to Framemaker's MIF format? Presumably we could represent each docbook feature by a Framemaker template feature, and let Framemaker do the layout and conversion to postscript.
