DOCBOOK-APPS: norm's xsl/stylesheets ver 1.16 and xml etc

Hi,

it looks like highlight which was very usefull at the begining of a
chapter/part etc is not supported yet .

also prior to ver stylesheets ver1.16/xml and infact with sgml/dssl the screen
used to aligned to the left of my browser screen along with para or whatever
you have earlier  to screen but now it is moved to almost to the centre of the
screen(browser)
for example (before):

i have not moved to any new place.

alias so and so 

but now :

i have not moved to any new place.
                                            alias so and so

any way to revert it back .

suppose i use <othercredit> etc etc </othercredit> in the first place nothing
happens , it doesn't get displayed but if i use <otherrname></othername>with in
other credit i land in problems 
suppose i use 
<author>
<firstname>Norman</firstname>
<surname>Walsh</surname>
</author>
<othercredit>
<firstname>John</firstname>
<otherrname>Doe</othername>
<contrib>Extensive review and rough drafts of Section 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5
</contrib>
</othercredit>

now this  get displayed  as Norman doe Walsh 
whew! ;-)
not a nice situation.
