DOCBOOK-APPS: Help!

Newbie Newbie

All I want to do is put a comment to myself in an SGML/XML document. Sort of
like;

// And here I start the section on Lunch //
<sect><title>Lunch</title>
...
</sect>

I am getting lost in all the links to various sites for information on this.
