I just tried the newest one out but <authorblurb> isn't accepted as a > tag. However, <authorblurb> is perfectly legal in the 4.1.2 xml dtd... Could you be more specific about the problem? I just processed a Docbook 4.1.2 document containing <authorblurb> using the Xalan-J 1.2.2 XSL processor and the Docbook XSL 1.25 stylesheets, and I got no errors. However, when <authorblurb> is contained in <biblioentry>, its output is "suppressed" according the the stylesheet. When it is contained in a <bibliomixed> entry, the authorblurb is displayed. According to the DocBook Definitive Guide, a <biblioentry> is a "database of named fields" and suppressed some entries. The <bibliomixed> element is supposed to output all of its content. Which container were you using? bobs Bob Stayton 400 Encinal Street Publications Architect Santa Cruz, CA 95060 Technical Publications voice: (831) 427-7796 The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. fax: (831) 429-1887 email: bobs@sco.com
