Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: Gray boxes or shading in DSSSL?
Just a question for the DSSSL-inclined... is it possible in DSSSL to put shading into a region? For instance, right now using DB4.1/DSSSL1.62/openjade1.3/jadetex3.3 a DocBook <warning> comes out as a box with a rule around it. And that's fine for what I'm doing right now. But I was just thinking about it and was curious to know if there was any way to do something like give it a 10% or 20% gray background (and perhaps drop the rule around the edge). This would be for PDF/PostScript output, not HTML. Is that something that can be done in DSSSL? Or is that more a function of the formatting tool? (in this case openjade/jadetex) Just curious, Dan -- Dan York, Director of Training dyork@e-smith.com Ph: +1-613-751-4401 Mobile: +1-613-263-4312 Fax: +1-613-564-7739 e-smith, inc. 150 Metcalfe St., Suite 1500, Ottawa,ON K2P 1P1 Canada http://www.e-smith.com/ open source, open mind
