Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: word perfect: 4.1 dtd -> lgc compile
I am trying to compile Docbook 4.1 DTD towards Word Perfect 8's LGC file used for SGML. Here is the error log: Error Log File = c:\corel\suite8\programs\lgcfiles\docbook4.1\docbook.log DTD (Input) File = c:\corel\suite8\programs\lgcfiles\docbook4.1\docbook.dtd LGC (Output) File = C:\COREL\SUITE8\PROGRAMS\LGCFILES\DOCBOOK4.1\DOCBOOK.LGC Entity Mapping File = c:\corel\suite8\programs\mapfiles\allchars.map Entity Directories = c:\corel\suite8\programs\mapfiles WP Char Mapping File = c:\corel\suite8\programs\mapfiles\allchars.wpc SGML Declaration File = c:\corel\suite8\programs\lgcfiles\docbook4.1\docbook.dcl Warning: (Line 1, c:\corel\suite8\programs\lgcfiles\docbook4.1\docbook.dtd ... I also used iso8879.map with the same failure. If anybody can give any pointers to getting SGML working in WP I'd appreciated. I do have 3.0 which came with WP 8 working but I thought I'd use the greatest and latest. Another question. Unix got all the nice tools like sgml tools and docbook2x. Does Word Perfect allow for automatic conversion to HTML, RTF, PDF and PS? Is there a docbook2x for the Windows environment? Thanks, Marcel
