There may be a newer LaTeX2e out, but I doubt it will fix your problems.

The following are just TeX being very picky about how long lines are.  There
are only two ways to stop TeX complaining about the line lengths. One is to
globaly adjust just how picky TeX should be, and the other is to rewrite the
text so that the spaces between the words are in different places.
