DOCBOOK-APPS: rootid parameter

I'm using the rootid parameter with the modular XSL style sheets, and having
no luck.  I've provided a valid ID as the value, but it always starts
formatting the entire XML instance.  I've tried this with both XT and the
latest Saxon, and I'm chunking the document into individual HTML files for
HTML help.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
