Subject: RE: DOCBOOK-APPS: Customizing XSL-FO for IEEE style articles
You want to use Norm Walsh's xsl stylesheets <http://sourceforge.net/projects/docbook/> to transform docbook source, right? The answers some of those questions can be found at: http://www.dpawson.co.uk/docbook/styling/styling.html and http://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/docbook.html, especially http://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/ch04.html#xsl Some of the items you mention are parameters and others are controlled with the template system. See: http://www.nwalsh.com/docs/articles/dbdesign/#selfcust If something is not already parameterized, you can override particular templates to get the results you need or submit a feature request at sourceforge. And when you get stuck, you can search the archives of this list or post a question here :) David > -----Original Message----- > From: Allen Bierbaum [mailto:allenb@vrac.iastate.edu] > Sent: Tuesday, January 08, 2002 2:59 PM > To: docbook-apps > Subject: DOCBOOK-APPS: Customizing XSL-FO for IEEE style articles > But I have reached the end of my knowledge when it comes to > customization. > > Basically I want to make a customized xsl-fo output format that will > give me something similar to an IEEE article format.
