Yes HTML is utf-8 by no problem. I have managed to get PDF via Apache Fop using truetype fonts ( as long as I do not want PDFbookmarks and with Docbook XSL Stylesheets 1.53.0 only single sided). PassiveTeX/XMLTeX is for those who know TeX and can handle the error messages. For me objective is to get a printout within a reasonable time with reasonable efforts. I don't think I need to be mechanic just to drive the car. -- Togan Muftuoglu
