Subject: RE: DOCBOOK-APPS: Request for Example Uses

Sure, I don't mind (one was sent straight to me and another to the list, I
would probably want to check with the author first, before making it public,
but since it was for a tutorial, he probably wouldn't mind). Have a
recommended place I post them? Or will just posting here wind up in an
archive? I haven't seen a good one...

Unfortunately, I have only tutorials that have been sent to me - the harder
area of policies and specs seems to not be as popular :( If we end up
creating them, I will be glad to post (along with any stylesheets we use),
so that others don't have to go through any difficulties...

Cheers!
Paul

Hi Paul,
you wouldn't mind putting the sample you've collected online somewhere would
you?

I'm sure your query will be repeated many times in the future by new
adopters. In addition to that, the only thing holding back some authors
(such as myself) is imagination - I dare say there are many ways of making
docbook output more useful/attractive, but I just haven't thought of them or
seen them.

Cheers,
Ian
