Subject: RE: DOCBOOK-APPS: Import/Export Docbook XML in WYSIWYG editor
Here seems to be the only viable open source project producing an editor. Right now we plan to work with this one and integrate the Jazzy Spellchecker; we may consider using the Appendixmanager for DocBook. http://sourceforge.net/projects/dbkeditor/ http://dbkeditor.sourceforge.net/ Here are the URLs for Jazzy and Appendixmanager: https://sourceforge.net/projects/jazzy/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/digipubappmanag/ On a separate issue, has anyone used Stephan Weisner's XML -> PDF/HTML tool? http://rzserv2.fhnon.de/~lg002556/pdfcreator/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/swiesnerxmlgui/ Thanks! I am using Saxon and FOP to produce HTML and PDF, so whatever program I use does not need transformation capabilities. Basically, I am looking for the best way to import and export Docbook XML in a WYSIWYG editor. I have tried using the Open Office filter and am also trying XML Mind. I would like to go with a free or very cheap editor. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Corey Corey Wells Arnold Division of Biostatistics Washington University School of Medicine
